High school can be a rough time. We don't know who we are or what we want but we think we do. It's a major turning point in discovering who we are going to be. Remember when we were kids and we all thought high school was going to be like it was on Saved By The Bell? Fat chance! Haha! For me, high school wasn't exactly a walk in the park. I often refer to it as "the worst years of my life" but now when I look back, I'm grateful for those bad times because they made me the person I am today. I also realized that I probably would of never survived high school if it weren't for the music. Whenever I had a bad day (which was most days haha) I'd come home and blast my music until I felt better. The phrase "you are what you listen to" can be true at times. At that age, we think we're the only ones going through all of that pain and confusion; everything feels like the end of the world. Music taught me that I am not alone even though I felt like I was. Music is always there when no one else is.
These are the albums that kept me breathing.
