Honor Society held an EP celebration show at Bowery Ballroom in New York City this past Tuesday night...and it was magical. I even brought my mom along. She was curious to see what all the fuss was about since I'm always bragging about how incredible they are live. Before the show I said to her, "I don't think you're ready for this" and by the end of the night her jaw was practically on the floor. It's one thing to hear a band on a recording but it's a totally different scenario when you see them live. I love when I'm right. :D

For the past few weeks I haven't been myself. It got to the point where I even stopped blogging/writing for a while. It bugs me when I can't write about something because it's all I've known for most of my life. I wasn't feeling so great that night but I went anyway and I'm SO glad I did. I was inspired again just by watching them play. I know I say this a lot but it's so obvious to see that they love what they do and that's what I want for myself. They work so hard even when the going gets tough. They made me believe again that anything is possible. I felt so much better after I left. I may not be 100% yet but I'm on my way. :)
