I first discovered Brooklyn indie/chillwave band Small Black on YouTube last fall when I came across their video for "No Stranger," which is slightly reminiscent of the love story of Jesse and Celine in 1995's Before Sunrise. Since then, I've been hooked, and their sophomore album, Limits of Desire, does not disappoint.
The band just released their new EP, Real People, which sounds like something Molly Ringwald would have played in her Walkman in '85. You all know how I feel about my synth - this band breaks my heart with every beat.
