Imagine Dragons premiered their video for their song "Demons" today and it tugged on my heartstrings.
We've all been there: you're at a concert while your favorite band is playing that one song that resonates with you above all the others. You suddenly find yourself lost in the memories of all of your demons and the overwhelming emotions of how you wish you could be in a crowd of similar people every night. Either that, or you feel completely alone in the crowd. It's just you and the band, or just you and your demons. In times like that, it's sometimes best to look at the person next to you. Chances are, they're fighting some demons of their own. I'm so happy that a band recognizes that while they are up there performing, it's like therapy for us fans in the audience. Nothing compares to having every heartwrenching thought in your mind translated into a song.
The video is dedicated to their fan and friend Tyler Robinson who sadly passed away this year due to cancer. Info on how to donate to the Tyler Robinson foundation can be found here.
"Demons" is the third single off of the band's debut, Night Visions, following "It's Time" and "Radioactive."
